Maize harvest and manufacturing
So, this past week was all about maize, heading to the farm and
harvesting it. And boy, this was an adventure. From 7am in the
morning, we began our journey out to the farm we bought and at 9pm we
returned home, having harvested two acres of maize.
You can see photos of our adventure here…

Now, we are just waiting for the sun to dry this maize, and then
we’re off for demonstrations to set up agro-dealers, bicycle dealers,
everything.
As for the other side of things, we are finally reaching full-scale manufacturing to coincide with our pilots to come. As we finalize the details about them, I’ll be sure to blog about them.
For now, though, check out photos from Karam Engineering!
These machines are the result of 4 employees who are now working full-time on our machines. This is job creation at its best. The dies are now made (these dies allow you to punch out pieces of metal like a cookie cutter), and this Saturday, we should have our next batch of 50 machines ready! I’m looking forward to it!
